Virtual Artist Alliance

The Virtual Artist Alliance (VAA) is an all-inclusive art group in Second Life, whose purpose is "Our purpose is to provide artists in Second Life with creative opportunities, and to unite people and groups into artistic collaborative experiences."
The Virtual Artist Alliance frequently collaborates with other art groups and individuals in order to help spread the word about the art community in Second Life, and also to encourage others to collaborate and strengthen our artistic community.

Group Land
The Virtual Artist Alliance land is currently located in the Chiaksan sim; the land there has been generously donated to the group by Jimmy Cassidy, Magellan Egoyan, Rezago Kokorin and Sunn Thunders. This land currently hosts the Virtual Artist Alliance's Photohunt Gallery.
Past exhibits at the Virtual Artist Alliance group land include:
History
- Founded on December 2nd, 2006 by Resident Cyanide Seelowe at the opening of Blekinge Sculpture Park.
- Held a silent charity art auction for First Book in January of 2007[1].
- Rezago Kokorin named co-founder in October, 2007.
- Co-sponsored the Best of SL Art 2007, alongside Krystal Epic and MH Motors.
Weekly Events
The Virtual Artist Alliance currently hosts three weekly events:
- Artist Building Sessions hosted by Rezago Kokorin
- Haiku Speedbuilds hosted by Rezago Kokorin
- Photohunt hosted and moderated by Cyanide Seelowe and Welcome Doobie
