Swedish Centre for Art and Media Technology (Also known as the Schwedische Zentrum fur Kunst und Mediatechnologien in German, and the Svenskt Centrum för Konst och Media Teknologi in Swedish) is a center for sound installation and art, and has been constructed at SRC - Svenskt resurscentrum. The overall objective is to display sound and visual artists in the forefront of technology in Second Life. Their goal is to become a well-known and sought after venue for cutting-edge installations. There will be no "House artists", or permanent exhibitions by one artist but rather a constant flow of new as well as established sound artists, performers and visual artists. Vilhelm Balhaus is currently serving as the Centre's curator.

Ett nytt initiativ har påbörjats. Ett centrum för ljudkonst har byggts i Svenskt resurscentrum. Målet för initiativet är att ställa ut konstnärer som arbetar med ljud och bild i Second Life. Vi hoppas att centret ska bli en plats dit man vill komma och ställa ut för att det har gott renommé och erbjuder en kreativ miljö att verka och synas i. CKM kommer inte att ha några "huskonstnärer" dvs permanenta utställningar utan målet är att ställa ut både nya och etablerade konstnärer i ett konstant och spännande och kreativt flöde.
